Aim The WJGPT is a high-quality, peer reviewed, open-access journal. The primary task of WJGPT is to rapidly publish high-quality original articles, reviews, editorials, and case reports in the field of gastrointestinal pharmacology and therapeutics. In order to promote productive academic communication, the peer review process for the WJGPT is transparent; to this end, all published manuscripts are accompanied by the anonymized reviewers’ comments as well as the authors’ responses. The primary aims of the WJGPT are to improve diagnostic, therapeutic and preventive modalities and the skills of clinicians and to guide clinical practice in gastrointestinal pharmacology and therapeutics.
Scope Acid-Related Disorders, Acute and Chronic Noninfectious Inflammatory States, Biliary Pharmacology, Drug Assessment, Functional Gastrointestinal Disorders, Fundamentals of Gastrointestinal Pharmacology, Gastrointestinal Water Flux, Infections of the Gut, Motility Disorders, Pain Management, Pancreas, Pharmacologic Therapy for Hepatic Disorders, and Pharmacology of Gastrointestinal Vasculature.
