Dr. Liang is a Professor in the West China Medical School/West China Hospital, Sichuan University, Chengdu, China. Having received his MD degree from West China Medical School of Sichuan University in 2005, Dr. Liang undertook his postgraduate training at the West China Medical School/West China Hospital, Sichuan University and has been an Attending an anesthesiologist in the Department of Anesthesiology in West China Hospital, Sichuan University since 2012. After one year research fellowship at University of Virginia, USA in the lab of Professor Zhi-Yi Zuo (2016 to 2017), Dr. Liang returned to West China Hospital and was promoted to associated Professor in 2017 and Professor in 2022. He is a member of various editorial boards and a reviewer of several scientific journals, and has published more than 50 peer-reviewed articles. Dr. Liang served as attending anesthesiologist of the Department of Anesthesiology, West China Hospital, Sichuan University (2012 to present). Currently, he is also the Director of the Day Surgery Center, West China Hospital, Sichuan University. His ongoing research interests are mechanism of general anesthesia and mental health.
