Dr. Meng has been engaged in the clinical study of common liver diseases, especially in the diagnosis and treatment of severe liver disease and malnutrition in these patients since 1983. She was put forward as an advanced worker of Beijing and acquired the Special Government Allowances of the State Council. Dr. Meng has undertaken more than 10 scientific research projects at both national and provincial levels including the Municipal Natural Science Foundation of Beijing, National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC), the 11th Five-Year Plan of National Science and Technology Major Project, and the 13th Five-Year Plan of National Science and Technology Major Project. Dr. Meng has published 18 peer-reviewed papers in recent 5 years and she also owns an invention patent.
