I'm Professor in Istanbul/Turkey.I'm working in field of general surgery since 2000.In fact I really enjoy to study in all fields of general surgery.But I specially interested in laparoscopic surgery, emergency surgery, hepatobiliary surgery,endoscopy and cytoreductive surgery. I believe that although academic publications were increased so much in medicine in last years, articles about new techniques and new treatment modalities are few.I try to make scientific researchs for new surgical tecniques and treatment modalities. As an academic surgeon I involved in editorial board of 4 international medical journal.I think that an academic surgeon should also produce important articles that have scientific value. It will be great honour for me being in editorial member board of wjgs.
