I am Dr Sathish Muthu MS PhD working as Assistant Professor in the Department of Orthopaedics at Government Medical College & Hospital, Karur. I am also the Head of Orthopaedic Research Group, a non-profit research organisation based in India. I am an orthopaedic surgeon scientist who aim to introduce the biologic treatment methods into the everyday orthopaedic ailments and my passion for research lead to the development of the research organisation that I am heading which provides the necessary training to create a research conducive atmosphere for the interested surgeons to participate in research activities without any knowledge, training or cost barriers. Being in an education institution, I active mentor my juniors towards development of their research skills to answer any future questions that might come across in their career. I am a charcoal portrait artist and I enjoy photographing the nature and wildlife in our backyards and reserve forests as a past-time activity.
