After his graduation, he became an Assistant Professor at the Ankara Yildirim Beyazit University, School of Medicine, Department of Gastroenterology in 2012. Over the last 25 years, he has focused his scientific interests on the topics related to Ulcerative colitis and Crohn’s diseases. He has several papers on this subject, and published numerous SCI journal papers (Int J Colorectal Dis, IBD, JCC, Eur Rev Med Pharmacol Sci, J Clin Gastroenterol, Turk J Gastroenterol, Gastroenterol Hepatol, Lancet Gastroenterol Hepatol, Gastroenterology, J Gastroenterol Hepatol, Eur J Gastroenterol Hepatol, Dig Liver Dis, Dig Dis Sci, Endoscopy), reviewed for many academic journals. He currently has several master students in Ankara Bilkent City Research Hospital, and Ankara Yildirim Beyazit University, School of Medicine. I have 116 research articles. I have published 17 of them as first author. I am corresponding author over 50 important academic journals. Number of citations are 1.064. Google Scholar's H-index= 15 I have peer reviewed over 100 manuscripts I have focused focused my scientific interests on the topics related to Ulcerative colitis, Crohn’s diseases, intestinal ultrasound, advanced endoscopic technique in IBD and ERCP..
