Yan-Bo Yu is a chief physician of Qilu hospital of Shandong University. He received his PhD degree from Shandong University in 2011. The research projects undertaken include National Key Research and development program and the National Natural Science Foundation. I have published 35 academic papers, including 21 SCI papers (first author or corresponding author). I have peer reviewed over 50 manuscripts from different journals. And I have written 1 editorials for WJG. Both Youth member of Digestive Disease Branch of Chinese Medical Association (CMA) and Youth member of Internal Medicine of Chinese Medical Association (CMA). Main research interests include the mechanisms of visceral hypersensitivity in irritable bowel syndrome, the mucus barrier dysfunction in diarrhea predominant irritable bowel syndrome and inflammatory bowel syndrome. table tennis
