My overview and career goals are 1) Enhance development of the field of clinical pharmacology; 2) Provide education to physicians and other medical personnel on the appropriate diagnosis and treatment of gastrointestinal conditions, common and rare; 3) Perform research on gastrointestinal diseases, drug treatments and side effects of medical therapy; 4) Improve quality of care for patients 5) Develop novel treatments for difficult to manage conditions such as inflammatory diseases, functional disorders, and complications of chemotherapy and radiation therapy.
