I am Sergey Morozov, MD, PhD, DSc, serve as a leading researcher and gastroenterologist/hepatologist of the Department of Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition of the Federal Research Center of Nutrition and Biotechnology, Moscow, Russia. My research interests are related to esophageal and gastrointestinal motility disorders, GERD, viral and metabolic associated liver disorders (including MAFLD), and the role of diet /nutritional factors in the pathogenesis and treatment of common gastrointestinal diseases. I am an author and co-author of more than 250 publications, member of European Society Neurogastroenterology and Motility, International Society for Diseases of the Esophagus, American Society for Nutrition. I am a member of editorial board of "Artificial Intelligence in Gastroenterology", "Experimental and Clinical Gastroenterology", advisory boards of "Advances in Therapy" and "Infectious Diseases and Therapy". Peer-reviewer for journals published by Baishideng Publishing group (>110 peer-reviews by the last 5 years), Advances in Therapy, Infectious Diseases and Therapy, Plos One, SAGE, Metabolites, Children, Diagnostics, Journal of Clinical Medicine, Gastrointestinal Disorders and others; overall 276 peer review records of 242 manuscripts are available at Web of Science platform. Long-term research interest include association of gastrointestinal motility disorders and dietary patterns; development of more effective strategies of treatment of metabolic-associated diseases. Professional skills include diagnostics and treatment of gastrointestinal and liver disorders; perform/interpret the results of high-resolution esophageal manometry, high-resolution anorectal manometry, esophageal multichannel pH-impedance studies, liver elastography, liver biopsy, 13C-UBT, hydrogen-methan breath test. I have good skills of lecturing and mentoring, communication and management skills.
