I am a physician-scientist and medical doctor both in gastroenterology and clinical oncology. I have a board certification in Gastroenterology, Clinical Oncology, Gastroenterological Endoscopy, Medical Artificial Intelligence. I have an extensive clinical background especially chemotherapy, endoscopic technique, patient palliative care in hepatobiliary and pancreatic neoplasms, and basic research experience regarding the role of genetic alteration including KRAS oncogene and its effectors on tumor environment. I have also well experienced of cancer-related cachexia in both basic and clinical research. I have been also working as a Visiting Researcher in Massachusetts General Hospital with an appointment of the JSPS Overseas Challenge Program for Young Researchers. I am focusing of the genetics landscape of both pancreatic and biliary tract cancer and their biology. I started clinical registry study for cancer-related cachexia and developed In vitro and In vivo model of cancer-related cachexia using the primary cell of pancreatic cancer form 2009. I also started translational prospective observational study for cancer-related cachexia in gastric/colorectal and pancreatic cancer from 2021 (https://rctportal.niph.go.jp/detail/um?trial_id = UMIN000045611). I have an extensive experience in artificial intelligence in gastroenterology, especially pancreas imaging and colorectal endoscopy.
