Dr. Νikolaos Panagiotis Εleftheriadis M.D. Gastroenterologist, born on 10 August, 1968, studied Medicine in Aristotle’s University of Thessaloniki from 10/1986 to 07/1992, and took the Diploma of the Specialty of Gastroenterology in10/10/2002, and the Diploma of European Board of Gastroenterology and Hepatology (EBGH) in13th September 2010. From 1997-1998 he was a ‘Research Fellow’ in Gastroenterology Department of the University Hospital of Maastricht, The Netherlands. Post-specialty Dr. Eleftheriadis followed one year training in Gastrointestinal Oncology in University Hospital of GENT, Belgium (2002-2003), one year training in interventional endoscopy (ERCP & EUS) in ERASME University Hospital, Brussels, Belgium (2003-2004) and one year training in advanced endoscopy (ESD & POEM) in Digestive Disease Center, of Showa University, Northern Yokohama Hospital, Japan (2011-2012). He speaks very good four languages [Greek, English (Certificate), Dutch (certificate), French (Certificate)] and few Japanese. He has currently organized POEM in Greece and worked privately as Associate Specialist, in Metropolitan Hospital Athens, Greece. He was a member of organizing committees of three National (Greek) congresses and he takes part in multiple protocols including an international multicenter protocol regarding POEM. His scientific work includes total 244 publications, 45 full papers in PubMed, 143 abstracts, 99 total full papers, two chapters in book, and 413 citations. He also followed multiple national (Greek) and International congresses, courses and seminars (more than 100) with multiple oral and poster presentations and lectures.
