Medical Degree and Specialization Diploma in Vascular Surgery at Naples Second University (SUN);  Specialization Diploma in Digestive and Endoscopic Surgery and PhD in Advanced Surgical Technologies at "Federico II" University of Naples (Italy). From March 1st 2023, he is a Director of Oncological Surgery Division of Arcispedale SantaMaria Nuova - IRCCS - C.O.R.E. (Reggio Emilia Oncological Centre) - (Ausl Reggio Emilia, Italy). From July 1st 2018 to February 28th 2023, he was a Director ofLaparoscopic and Oncological Surgery Division of “A. Tortora” Oncological Hospital – Pagani (ASL Salenrno, Italy). Over the last 20 year he has worked as surgeon in the III General and Oncological Surgery Division of the “Federico II” University of Naples with Prof. F. Corcione (Past President of Italian Society of Surgery);  in the Department of Digestive Surgery, Hepato-Biliary Surgery and Transplants, Videosurgery and Bariatric Surgery of Prof. J. Mouïel at  "Centre Hopitaliere Universitaire" of Nice (France), and (from 2003 to date) in the General Surgery Department of Prof. U. Parini at Aosta Valley Regional Hospital  . He was certificated eligible as Director of General Surgery Department in some public competitions. He has focused his interest on advanced digestive laparoscopic and abdominal wall surgery (from 1995), oncological colorectal and bariatric surgery (from 2000), robotic surgery(from 2003), also conducing numerous studies about the Laparoscopic and Robotic advantages in Bariatric and Digestive Procedures. He was invited as a Faculty Member in numerous International Congress and Courses for his Laparoscopic experience in Digestive and Bariatric Surgery. He received some Awards for best video communications in International Congress and for most cited publications in Literature. He was Professor at the School of the ACOI Obesity Surgery from 2004 to 2009. He is co-author of a chapter of SIC monograph of 2006 and is co-author of the English and Italian Editions of the book "Bariatric Surgery"; Musumeci Ed.
