Professor Byung-Ho Choe has graduated from Kyungpook National University School of Medicine, where he had been working as the Chairman of Department of Pediatrics. As a pediatric hepatologist, he has contributed chapters to numerous books, and published highly cited articles in top-quality journals. His main interest is the treatment of chronic hepatitis B and the development of early diagnostic modalities for biliary atresia. Professor Choe had served as the Editor-in-Chief of PGHN (Pediatric Gastroenterology Hepatology & Nutrition) for 6 years. He is currently the president of the Korean Society of Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition.
