Hind Fallatah is a professor of Adult gastroenterology and hepatology with main clinical practice and research interest in the hepatology field. She has been practicing in the gastroenterology/hepatology as a consultant since 2003.  She is one of the first four females I the field from Saudi Araba and she is the first female professor in the field of hepatology and gastroenterology from Saudi Arabia.  She had graduated from the school of medicine at King Abdulaziz University Jeddah then and completed the Saudi internal medicine postgraduate programs and gastroenterology/hepatology fellowship. She is also a member for the America College of the physician from 2001 until 3013 when she was promoted as an advanced clinical practice fellow.  She is also a member of the Saudi liver association SASLT and the ASSLD. She has been appointed into several hospital and academic leadership positions for variable periods. Those includes member of the hospital medical board, deputy head for the department of medicine, head of the gastroenterology endoscopy unit, Head of the PNT committee, consulate for the vice dean clinical affairs at the faculty of medicine and the most recent one is one of the first three females to be appointed in the scientific board of King Abdulaziz University Jeddah. She is working as a frequent reviewer for several national and international internal medicine and hepatology journals. She is also holding an honor degree in master medical education as the first graduate of the collaborative master medical education program between King Abdulaziz University and Illinois University of Chicago.
