Soriano-Ursúa MA has completed his PhD from Escuela Superior de Medicina del Instituto Politénico Nacional, México. Currently, he is an recognized physiology and drug design professor. Also, he is advisor in a Critical Medicine Care, a Master Degree and a PhD programs. He is a member of the National System of Researchers (II), and he is Head of the Physiology Laboratory. He has focused on the rational drug design having boron-containing compounds as main moiety, as well as, the different effects of these compounds on human physiology (essentialy trough interactions on GPCRs). His workgroup has obtained advances for applying MedChem to CNS, metabolic and smooth muscle diseases. He has authored more than 80 publications and he has been serving as an Editorial Board Member of repute journals.
