I am proficient in the diagnosis and minimally invasive/robotic surgery treatment of common and complex urological diseases. I perform over 1,300 minimally invasive/robotic urological surgeries each year. I was the first in China to propose the concept of combining B-ultrasound with X-ray positioning, large and small channel approaches, and the use of "carrier" nephroscopes and "carrier" lithotripsy for the treatment of complex kidney stones. I have profound expertise in multi-channel percutaneous nephrolithotomy, transurethral enucleation of the prostate, minimally invasive and robotic surgery for urological tumors, and urinary tract repair and reconstruction. I was the first to implement multi-channel percutaneous nephrolithotomy and transurethral enucleation of the prostate as day surgeries. I am proficient in robotic laparoscopic surgery for urological tumors, repair and reconstruction of complex ureteral strictures, minimally invasive and day surgeries for complex stones, minimally invasive and day surgeries for benign prostatic hyperplasia, and the treatment of complex and critical urological conditions. I served as the deputy editor of "Flexible Ureteroscopy" and a main author of three monographs: "Percutaneous Nephrolithotomy", "Ureteral Surgery", and "Prevention and Management of Complications in Minimally Invasive Urological Surgery". As the first or corresponding author, I have published over 70 papers. I have led one project funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, participated in two such projects, and led ten provincial and municipal research projects. I have won one first prize for scientific and technological progress in Guangdong Province and one second prize for scientific and technological progress from the Ministry of Education.
