My name is Behnam Saberi, MD. I am a transplant hepatologist and faculty in division of gastroenterology and hepatology, at BIDMC, and assistant professor of medicine at Harvard Medical School. I have trained and have been in academic intuition for my whole academic career. I have been a faculty for 10 years. I love working in the academic center because I am passionate for research and education. I have been actively involved in research and have published around 77 articles (H factor 23). My area of research is in liver transplant outcomes mostly in the field of HCC. I also have interest in chronic hepatitis C and fatty liver disease. I have been invited to give talks in multiple conferences such as DDW (Digestive Disease Week), ILTS (international liver transplantation society), TTS (The transplantation society). I am member of ILTS and AASLD (American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases). I am actively involved in committees for AASLD and ILTS. I have served on the editorial boards on other journals and have reviewed many articles throughout the years, as reviewer and editor. My goals are to be active in research and continue with teaching, education, research. I would also like to continue with involvement in liver and transplant meetings at the international level. I have been submitting abstracts at the international conferences and have presented my work in the form of poster, oral presentations. I am planning to attend more international talks and moderating sessions in the near future. Being a faculty, I am heavily involved in patient care, teaching and mentoring of students/residents and fellows, as well as involved in conferences. My main focus is managing patient pre and post liver transplant, as transplant hepatologist. Please feel free to reach out with any questions. And thank you for your consideration
