Dr. Arvind Kumar Goyal is working as Assistant Professor in the Department of Biotechnology, Bodoland University, Assam, India with additional charge as Head for the Centre for Bamboo Studies. He obtained his Ph.D. from University of North Bengal in 2014. He is actively engaged in teaching and research. His area of research interest includes Molecular Biology, Plant Tissue culture, Ethnopharmacology (diabetes, hepatoprotective), Pharmacognosy. He received several research grants as principal investigators from various funding agencies. He has over 60 scientific articles to his credit published in national and international peer reviewed journals and as book chapters. Besides he also serves as Associated Editor/ Editorial Board member in a number journals.
