Editorial Board
Dr. Hao Ying is a Distinguished Professor at the College of Medicine of Tongji University. Dr. Ying received his MD degree from Fudan University in 2002. He then worked at the Shanghai First Maternity and Infant Hospital of Tongji University, where he served as an attending physician in Obstetrics and Gynecology from 2003-2005, as an Associate Chief Physician from 2005-2010, and as Chief Physician since 2010. He is the chief scientist of the 14th Five-Year National Key Research and Development Program (in the direction of preterm birth). He serves as the vice-chairman of the Youth Committee of the Perinatal Medicine Branch of the Chinese Medical Association (7th), the Standing Committee of the Perinatal Medicine Branch of the Chinese Medical Association (10th), the vice-chairman of the Committee of Whole Life Cycle Health Management of the Chinese Society of Maternal and Child Health Care, the chairman-designate of the Shanghai Perinatal Medicine Branch, the chairman of the Shanghai Committee for Prevention and Control of Preterm Birth, the director of the Shanghai Clinical Quality Control Center of Obstetrics and the director of the Obstetrics Specialty Alliance of Shanghai Municipal Hospitals. He is also the director of Shanghai Maternity Clinical Quality Control Center, the director of Obstetrics Specialty Alliance of Shanghai Municipal Hospital, and the vice chairman of Maternal-Fetal Medicine Branch of Shanghai Municipal Physicians Association. He is the deputy editor-in-chief of Reproductive Health and Gynecol Obstet Invest, executive editorial board member or editorial board member of 5 domestic core journals, and editorial board member of the 3rd and 4th Human Health Edition of Obstetrics and Gynecology (Specialized Education) textbook. Currently, he is the vice president of the Shanghai First Maternity and Infant hospital affiliated with Tongji University. His research interests are preterm labor and labor initiation.
