Mainly engaged in the application research of bone and joint biomaterials. In the treatment of osteoarthritis, the pathogenesis of OA was explored from the aspects of joint lubrication, inflammation regulation, and stem cell repair, and a new adaptive intelligent drug delivery system was proposed. A series of original studies were conducted on the regulation of OA microenvironment by micro-nano composite drug delivery systems (Chem Eng J 2020, 400, 126004; Small 2020,16, 2004519; Research 2023, 6, 0131). In terms of bone defect repair, fullerol composite hydrogel microspheres were prepared based on microfluidic and three-dimensional stem cell culture technology to achieve effective loading of stem cells and regulation of redox homeostasis (Bioact Mater 2021, 6, 4801). This original achievement has applied for a national invention patent (patent number: ZL 2020 1 1065235.0). Recently, fullerol was modified on the surface of 3D printed bioglass ceramic scaffolds to regulate the ROS microenvironment and accelerate bone defect healing (Mater Today Bio, 27, 101, 120). In addition, he wrote and published a systematic review of the application of hydrogel microspheres in orthopedic diseases (Adv Function Mater 2024, 2400257). As the first author or corresponding author, has published a series of high-level research works in several influential magazines such as Prog Mater Sci, Adv Funct Mater, Bioact Mater, Research, Small, Chem Eng J, J Control Release, and Injury, with an H-index of 16 and a cumulative impact factor > 200. The research results have been cited by well-known journals such as Nature Materials, with a total of 1379 citations. Invited to serve as a reviewer for academic journals such as BMC Musculoskeletal Dis, Int J Surg, Acta Biomater and Adv Healthcare Mater. Future work will focus on the bio-functional materials for osteochondral regeneration and osteoarthritis management, as well as the surgical treatment of musculoskeletal disorders.
