Dariusz Czaprowski, PT, PhD, associate Professor in the Department of Physiotherapy at Józef Rusiecki University College in Olsztyn, Poland as well as in Department of Rehabilitation at University of Physical Education in Warsaw, Poland. Head of The Center of Body Posture in Olsztyn, Poland which focuses on evaluation of musculoskeletal system in children and adolescents with using e.g. system for gait analysis (BTS Smart, Bioengeering, Milan, Italy), surface electromyography, functional testing as well on the treatment of patients with spinal deformities (e.g. idiopathic scoliosis, Scheuermann disease) and faults in body posture. Author and co-author above 90 scientific publications related to idiopathic scoliosis (evaluation, physiotherapy, physical capacity), body posture, back pain, Evidence Based Clinical Practice, evaluation of the reliability of various tools used for the assessment of musculoskeletal system. These papers were published in e.g. European Spine Journal, Scoliosis, Manual Therapy, Physical Therapy in Sport and Journal of Back and Musculoskeletal. Dariusz Czaprowski is a winner of SOSORT 2011 Award for best clinical paper (Barcelona, Spain, 19-21.05.2011 „Joint hypermobility in girls with idiopathic scoliosis: relation with age, curve pattern and curve size”).
