I am Wei Lu and graduated from Zhejiang University School of Medicine as medical doctor. Currently I am working at the Department of Colorectal Surgery and Oncology, The Second Affiliated Hospital Zhejiang University School of Medicine (SAHZU). As a doctor in the Department of Colorectal Surgery and Oncology, my research interests are: (1) biomarkers of colorectal cancer diagnosis and screening. (2) mechanisms of colorectal cancer metastasis. I have published 9 SCI articles as first author or co-first author, including Cancer letters, Molecular cancer, Nutrition journal and Cancer medicine. The article published in Molecular cancer (Long non-coding RNA linc00673 regulated non-small cell lung cancer proliferation, migration, invasion and epithelial mesenchymal transition by sponging miR-150-5p) has been cited by more than 200 papers. I peer reviewed about 10 papers each year, but I have not written editorials for academic journals. I primarily engaged in identifying biomarkers of colorectal cancer diagnosis and screening and explore mechanisms of colorectal cancer metastasis for my long-term research. I excel at fully concentrating, understanding, responding, and remembering what others say. This skill allows me to grasp nuances, emotions, and underlying concerns in conversations. In addition, I possess strong communication abilities, enabling me to convey ideas clearly and effectively. I enjoy sports, music and reading.
