My name is Ren Tao, and my highest academic degree is MD and PhD. I currently hold the professional title of Professor and Department Chair at the First Affiliated Hospital of Chengdu Medical College. I focuse on signal transduction, mitochondria, cells, and the effects of radiation damage They have successfully led a key project under Sichuan Provincial Department of Science and Technology on applied basic research (2020YJ0451) and currently oversee a key clinical research from the Sichuan Health Commission (23YJ049), as well as one project funded by the Wu Jieping Medical Foundation (320.6750.2021-22-17). Additionally, as part of a demonstration base, they participate in the national key research and development program led by Professor Chen Ming from the Sun Yat-sen University Cancer Prevention and Treatment Center on "Demonstration Project for Tumor Radiotherapy Applications Based on Domestic Innovative Radiotherapy Equipment." Some of their research findings have been published in reputable journals including Nature Communications (2022, 13:1172), BMC Cancer (2020, 20(1):634), Cancer Cell International (2021, 21(1):338), Clin Transl Med (2022, 12(5):e876), Redox Biology (2023, 65:102810), Scientific Reports (2024) and Frontiers in Immunology (2025). I have published more than 20 academic articles as first author or correspondign author in academic journals indexed SCIE. And I have two times of international academic conference speeches. Furthermore, my Google Scholar's H-index is 13, and now i am the Committee Member of the Liver Tumor Integrated Rehabilitation Subcommittee of the Chinese Anti-Cancer Association, Member of the and Soft Tissue Radiation Oncology Group of the Radiotherapy Oncology Branch of Chinese Medical Association. The additional contributions I have made more than 30 times as peer reviewer. And I have no editorials. Engaged in clinical practice, teaching, and research in the field of oncology for an extended period, I possess profound expertise in tumor radiotherapy, chemotherapy, and personalized treatment. I pursued my Master's and Doctoral degrees in Oncology at Chongqing Medical University and the former Third Military Medical University, respectively, and had the privilege of serving as a visiting scholar at the University of South Florida from 2014 to 2015. I am responsible for teaching courses such as "Introduction to Oncology," "Radiation Oncology," and "Medical English" at both undergraduate and graduate levels. My professional and academic achievements have garnered recognition from peers both domestically and internationally. Now i am the director of Oncology Department in our hospital, and possessing the capability to resolve complex medical cases. My hobbies include swimming and writing like poems.
