Siyuan Yan, PhD in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (Chinese Academy of Sciences), Associate Professor employed by the Institute of Precision Medicine at Jining Medical University. I focus on elucidating the molecular mechanisms underlying cancer progression. My work involves identifying key enzymes and signaling pathways that drive cancer cell proliferation and stemness, such as PFKFB3 and EGFR/PI3K/AKT. This research aims to provide insights into potential therapeutic targets for cancer treatment. My dedication stems from the urgent need for more effective cancer therapies. My publication could be found here https://www.researchgate.net/profile/Siyuan-Yan-4/publications. I have authored a total of 22 articles in my field of expertise. Among these, I have served as the first or corresponding author for 12 publications. My work has garnered significant attention, with a total of 610 citations, and an H-index of 13. These accomplishments reflect my dedication to producing high-quality research that contributes to advancing knowledge in my field. To date, I have reviewed over 30 manuscripts for various academic journals. Regrettably, I have not yet authored any editorials, which is an area I intend to strengthen in the future. Primarily engaged in oncology and cancer research, I aim to deepen my understanding and contributions to fields of colorectal cancer progress and therapy. My long-term research focuses on elucidating molecular mechanisms and exploring novel therapeutic targets, with the ultimate goal of improving patient outcomes and quality of life. Distinctive professional skills and areas of expertise lie in cancer research, especially in exploring metabolic reprogramming and signaling pathways in cancer cells. With strong problem-solving skills, I delve into complex biological mechanisms. Active listening and communication skills enable effective collaboration. Interpersonal skills foster teamwork. Leadership in research projects and mentoring junior researchers are also my strengths. I enjoy hiking and fishing.
