Prof. Yanqi Dang, a male scholar, holds a Doctor of Science degree and has completed postdoctoral studies in Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine. He serves as an associate researcher and master's supervisor at Longhua Hospital, affiliated with Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. His primary research focuses on the role of epigenetics in metabolic diseases and tumorigenesis, as well as the prevention and treatment of these conditions using traditional Chinese medicine. Over the past five years, Dr. Dang has published 24 papers in journals indexed by the Science Citation Index (SCI), such as the Journal of Experimental & Clinical Cancer Research, Clinical and Translational Medicine, and MedComm, with six of these publications having an impact factor greater than 10. In 2019, his project "New Methods for Classifying Disease Syndromes and Their Applications" was awarded the First Prize for Scientific and Technological Progress by the Ministry of Education. In 2020, his project "Establishment and Application of Key Technologies for Precision Syndrome Medicine" received the First Prize for Scientific and Technological Progress in Shanghai, as well as the First Prize of the Shanghai Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine Science and Technology Award, and the second prize in the China Traditional Chinese Medicine Science and Technology Awards. The individual has led five research projects at both national and provincial levels. They have been recognized through various talent programs, including the Shanghai Youth Science and Technology Rising Star Program, the Sailing Program, the "Youth Talent Cultivation" Program of the Spleen and Stomach Disease Branch of the China Association of Chinese Medicine, and the Xinglin Young Scholar Program at Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. The individual holds memberships and directorships in several professional committees and associations, such as the Traditional Chinese Medicine Preventive Medicine Professional Committee of the World Federation of Chinese Medicine Societies, the Clinical Pharmacy Branch of the China Association of Chinese Medicine Information, and the Chronic Disease Management Branch of the same association. Additionally, they contribute as a member of the Traditional Chinese Medicine Chronic Disease Project at the Chronic Disease Prevention and Control Work Station.
