I am Professor Yongting Luo, from the Department of Nutrition and Health, China Agricultural University, Beijing, China. My research focuses on nutrition and cardiovascular health, elucidating key nutritional intervention targets for cardiovascular diseases and identifying a series of nutritional interventions. I have served as the principal investigator for multiple competitive grants, including one National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) Youth Project, three NSFC General Projects, one Beijing Natural Science Foundation General Project, and two sub-projects under the National Key R&D Program. To date, I have published 67 papers in important academic journals with over 2,270 citations and an H-index of 27 (Scopus). Among these, I am the first/corresponding author (including co-first/corresponding) in leading medical, nutritional, and multidisciplinary journals such as European Heart Journal, Cell Research, Nature Communications, PNAS, Blood (2 papers), Science Bulletin, Advanced Science, Exploration, Protein & Cell (2 papers), Cell Reports, Cell Death & Disease, International Journal of Surgery, American Journal of Clinical Nutrition, and Clinical Nutrition. I am good at active listening skills, communication skills, interpersonal skills, leadership skills, mentoring skills, management skills, and problem-solving skills. The novel therapeutic target for aortic dissection was highly evaluated in a European Heart Journal (EHJ) editorial with a recommendation by the editor-in-chief, and was incorporated into the Chinese Expert Consensus on Aortic Diseases and the 2024 Annual Advances in Cardiovascular Basic Research in China. The newly identified transcription factor regulating iron metabolism was featured as the cover of Blood and received two dedicated commentaries by international peers. The novel lipid receptor was selected as the cover of Cell Research, while the PNAS paper was recommended by Faculty Opinions (F1000Prime) as a "New Finding, Novel Drug Target." I have more than 10 of international academic conference speeches. I have two editorials written for academic journals. Personally, I like skating, drawing, and play table tennis.
