Dr. Vassil Traykov is the Head of Department if Invasive Electrophysiology and Cardiac pacing at one of the leading hospitals in Bulgaria - Acidbadem City Clinic Tokuda Hospital. Dr. Traykov is board certified in cardiology and is certified by EHRA in the field of invasive electrophysiology and cardiac pacing. He is currently elected as the President of Bulgarian Arrhythmia Society.  At his institution Dr. Traykov is actively involved in the teaching process of fellows in cardiology and invasive electrophysiology and pacing as well as in research. As a research investigator Dr. Traykov has authored more than 50 manuscripts, many of which in peer-reviewed journals. His major research interests are in the field of catheter ablation of atrial fibrillation and focal atrial tachycardia.
