I was born on 4th of August 1983 in Novi Sad, Serbia, where I have finished elementary and high school. In 2002 I have enrolled at Medical Faculty, University of Novi Sad, Serbia, and graduated with degree of MD in 2008 as third by success in the generation. From August of 2009 to November of 2010, I was employed as physician at Department for Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolic Disorders, Clinic for Pediatrics, Institute for Health Protection of Children and Youth of Vojvodina in Novi Sad, Serbia. Since November of 2010 I am employed as physician at Clinic for Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolic Disorders, Clinical Center of Vojvodina, Novi Sad, Serbia. Since September of 2011 I was holding the position of Teaching Assistant and from 2013 the position of Teaching Fellow at Department of Internal Medicine at Medical Faculty, University of Novi Sad, Serbia. I have defended my PhD thesis entitled "The significance of adiponectin in the assessment of cardiometabolic profile and of risk of type 2 diabetes development in obese persons" in December of 2016. In July of 2017 I have completed my residency, passed the exam with the highest grade, and became the Internal Medicine Specialist. During the 2017 European Association for the Study of Diabetes Annual Meeting in Lisbon, Portugal, I have received the European Foundation for the Study of Diabetes Future Leaders Mentorship Programme for Clinical Diabetologists award. I am fluent in English and familiar with the basics of German and Italian language.
