Dr. Xiaodong Sun is an expert in the field of Obesity and Diabetes and an endocrinologist who offers medical care for patients with endocrine and metabolic disorders. Following his medical/research training from West China Hospital, Sichuan University with an M.D and Ph.D. degree, Dr. Sun is working in the Affiliated Hospital of Weifang Medical University. Dr. Sun has a long-standing dedicated interest in metabolic disease research. He finished the training of The Art and Science of Diabetes Care in Joslin Diabetes Center, Harvard medical University and pursued further studies in obesity and diabetes research at University of Mississippi Medical Center. Dr. Sun has published more than 40 peer-reviewed papers in SCI-indexed journals, given eight oral presentations in EASD annual meeting and has served as reviewers for many scientific journals including Diabetelogia, Journal of Molecular Endocrinology, Life sciences, Pharmaceutical Biology, International Urology and Nephrology.
