My name is Lei Zhou. I obtained my PhD in 2007. Now I am a professor in Guangxi Academy of Medical Sciences, the People’s Hospital of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. Major research fields: Nutritional and metabolic regulation, including the mechanism studies of diabetes, obesity, fatty liver and so on. Current research focus: (1) the prevention and treatment of metabolic diseases such as fatty liver, obesity and diabetes; (2) the pathogenesis of diseases and the screening of pathogenic genes; (3) the screening of natural small molecules for targeted therapy and the design of new drug molecules. SCI paper: >70; number of international academic conference speeches: 3; number of citations: >1300; H-index: 23; Awards: Hundred Talent Program; professional associations’ membership: Vice Chairman of Guangxi Bioinformatics Society.
