Professor of Hepatology, I am also qualified in Internal Medicine. My area of interest is viral hepatitis, with three themes of interest: extrahepatic manifestations and special populations, virological aspects of hepatitis B and pharmacology of anti-viral drugs. More recently, I have been involved with my research unit Inserm IPPRITT ("Individual Profiling and Prevention of Risks with Immunosuppressive Therapies in Transplantation") and the University Hospital Transplantation Federation SUPORT, in the pharmacology of immunosuppressors and the modeling of survival of liver graft and liver transplanted patients. I am also very active in research on rare iron overloads of genetic origin in the context of the French national Reference Center. Very committed to the field of clinical research, I am Clinical Research Medical Director of the University Hospital Center of Limoges and Coordinator of the Scientific and Methodological Council of the Institution and Vice President of the Institutional Research of the University Hospital Center of Limoges. I published 170 papers in the different fields above.
