My name is Nabil Eid. I hold a PhD in Basic Medical Sciences from Osaka Medical and Pharmaceutical University. Currently, I am an A. Professor at the International Medical University (IMU) in Malaysia. I have over 22 years of teaching experience in anatomy, histology, and cell biology at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels in Japan, the UAE, and Egypt. My teaching experience encompasses lectures and practical sessions. During my time in Japan, I taught international undergraduate students from Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, Russia, the USA, and South Korea. In 2017, I was honored with the Best Anatomy Lecturer Award in Japan. I have published over sixty papers in high-impact factor journals and contributed to several research books. I was listed among the top 2% of scientists worldwide based on Scopus and Stanford University data from 2022 to 2024. I have authored over thirty papers as the first author. I supervised several PhD students and one undergraduate student at Osaka Medical and Pharmaceutical University, guiding them in laboratory work and manuscript writing. I have served as an academic editor for World Journal of Hepatology (WJH) and Frontiers in Pharmacology for several years, and have published several editorials in journals such as WJH, World Journal of Gastrointestinal Oncology (WJGO), World Journal of Diabetes (WJD), and World Journal of Cardiology (WJC). I have reviewed numerous papers, including more than thirty for the journals mentioned earlier. I also serve as a reviewer for MDPI journals. My research interests include surgical anatomy and cell biology, with a particular focus on autophagy and apoptosis signaling pathways. I possess strong active listening, communication, mentoring, leadership, and problem-solving skills, along with effective management and moderate interpersonal abilities.
