I am Iman Fawzy Montasser, MD, Professor of Tropical Medicine and Hepatology at Ain Shams University, Egypt. Dr Montasser is a Transplant Hepatologist and Physician Scientist in Ain Shams Center for Organ Transplantation (ASCOT) from 2008 till now. Special research interest in viral hepatitis, Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC), immunosuppression and living donor liver transplantation (LDLT). I have published more than 60 peer-reviewed international publications on gastrointestinal and liver diseases in scientific journals and is a reviewer for many international journals. I have published more than 50 articles as the first author or co-corresponding author in important academic SCI journals such as Journal of Digestive Diseases, BMC Med Genomics ,Journal of Hepatocellular Carcinoma and Clinics and Research in Hepatology and Gastroenterology. Our articles have been cited over 500 times in SCI journals. I was invited to give speeches at many national and international conferences such as the International Liver Transplantation Society Congress 2023, 2024 and the Asian Transplant Week 2023. My Google Scholar's H-index is 12. I have peer reviewed over than 40 manuscripts for academic journals including World Journal of Gastroenterology, International Hepatology and Journal of Hepatocellular Carcinoma. I am currently a member of the African Society of Organ transplantation (ASOT), The Transplantation Society (TTS) and the currant vice chair of Diversity, equality and inclusion (EDI) Committee of the International Liver Transplantation Society (ILTS). I have actively participated in the ILTS ERAS4OLT consensus conference 2022. Special interest in educational programs in Africa and I am the organizer of Regional Expansion Advanced Learning (REAL) for Africa since 2022.I am one of the Founder of Donate life Egypt 2024. I have actively participated in the International LDLT registry, The LDLTregistry.org Collaborative, as one of the country leader and team member in this international data registry.
