I was born in 1970 in Kırklareli, Turkey. I completed my first school in the Samsun Mustafa Kemal Elementary School, and then in Trabzon High School. I finished Samsun 19 May Medical Faculty in 1993. I was a specialist in internal medicine in 2004  and had become a specialist in gastroenterology in 2012 by completing my gastroenterology fellowship training in Kocaeli university. I started to work as an assistant professor in the department of internal diseases and gastroenterology of Kocaeli University, after having worked in the gastroenterology clinic for three years for compulsory service in Derince Education and Research Hospital, and I am still pursuing this task .   Advanced endoscopic applications, especially ERCP, enteroscopy, ESD and POEM are areas of particular interest. I also have liver transplant hepatology certificate and I work as a liver disease policlinic staff in our faculty hospital. I am particularly interested in the management of viral hepatitis, autoimmune hepatitis, toxic hepatitis, cirrhosis and management of complications.   I am still a member of ASGE, ESGE, AASLD and EASL. I am member of Turkish Gastroenterology Association and Turkish Gastrointestinal Endoscopy Association, and Turkish Liver Diseases Association, also.   I am married and I have a 10 year old daughter. I am interested in traveling, reading books, listening to music, skiing, tennis and sailing
