Dr. Ajay Kumar Jha is a Associate Professor in the cardiothoracic division of the Department of the Anesthesiology and Critical Care, Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research, Puducherry, India. Having received his MD Anesthesiology degree from the prestigious institute, PGIMER Chandigarh, Dr. Ajay K Jha undertook his doctorate degree (DM) in Cardiac Anesthesiology from AIIMS, New Delhi in 2014. Subsequently, he joined as a consultant in the heart-lung transplant division of Global Health City hospital of Chennai, India. He worked in anesthesiology department of AIIMS, Bhubaneswar India as Assistant Professor. Since 2017, He is working in the current Institute, JIPMER, Puducherry, India as Assistant and Associate Professor. He has published more than 50 articles in reputed journals. His current area of works includes, transplant anesthesiology, critical care and cardiac critical care. His research interest includes, cardiac, pulmonary and cerebral hemodynamics.
