Dr. Hany Elbeshbeshy specializes in liver transplant services and treatment of advanced liver diseases, including liver cancer, cirrhosis and non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NASH). He also provides pre- and post-liver transplant care in both hospital and clinic settings. His research interests include NASH, liver cancer and liver transplantation, Viral Hepatitis, and Cholestatic Liver Disease. He is the principal investigator and sub-Investigator on several research projects including NIH funded grants. He also serves as a reviewer for Journal of Clinical Gastroenterology. Elbeshbeshy is an assistant professor in the Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology, at Saint Louis University School of Medicine. He is a fellow of the American Association for the Study of Liver Disease and a member of the American College of Physicians.
