Dr Luminita Labusca is an experienced  medical specialist, consultant surgeon in orthopedics and traumatology. Having acquired a PhD in regenerative medicine Dr Labusca is pursuing a research career in the field of stem cells and regenerative medicine at the interface with nanoscience and technology.  Dr Labusca has worked as medical practitioner, clinical researcher and scientist involved in basic science in various national and international settings and in multidisciplinary teams. Her activity is oriented in deepening understanding about molecular mechanisms of disease and regeneration as well as in contributing to integrate nanotechnology in exploring and influencing living systems, expanding research and implementing stem cell based regenerative medicine in clinical practice.
