Prof. Saïd Mahmoudi received his MS in Computer Science from the LIFL Laboratory, University of Lille1, France in 1999. He obtained his PhD in Computer Science at the University of Lille1, France in December 2003. Between 2003 and 2005, he was Associate Lecturer at the University of Lille3, France. Since September 2005, he is Associate Professor at the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Mons, Belgium. His research interests include artificial intelligence, internet of things, images processing, computer aided diagnosis, 2D and 3D retrieval and indexing, Cloud Computing, Big Data and large scale multimedia management. His supervision experience includes more than 50 Masters’ dissertations and eight PhD thesis. He participates in numerous scientific and academic activities (member of the organizing committee for some conferences, reviewer for several internationals conferences and journals). Prof. Saïd MAHMOUDI was involved in several projects including industrial and academic researchers, in an international context.  Prof Saïd Mahmoudi has published more than seventy papers at reputed international journals including IEEE Transaction, Pattern recognition Letters, Elsevier, Springer, Wiley, InderScience. He has also published more than 80 papers in top international conferences sponsored by IEEE, ACM, and Springer.  He has served as a Technical Program Committee (TPC) member at renowned international conferences including  : EMBC, HCIST, BHI, MobiSPC, ICNAS 2017, ICDSD 2014, IWMCS, IMETI, IEEE ICEME, ICCSP. He is also serving as reviewer for international journals including IEEE Transactions, Elsevier, Springer and  Computer Methods and Programs in Biomedicine, Multimedia Tools and Applications, International Journal of Computer Assisted Radiology and Surgery, Information Sciences, Pattern Recognition Letters, Journal of Digital Imaging, IET Computer Vision, IEEE Transactions on Medical Imaging Prof Saïd MAHMOUDI has published over then 150 journal and conference papers to date. He participates in numerous scientific and academic activities (member of the organizing committee for some conferences, reviewer for several internationals conferences and journals).
