Professor Chen is an expert in the field of psychoradiology in Huaxi MR Research Center (HMRRC) at Department of Radiology in West China Hospital of Sichuan University. He has received the highest levels of training in psychology, cognitive neuroscience and psychiatric neuroimaging in Beijing Normal University and Sichuan University. His publications mainly focus on artificial intelligence in psychoradiology, psychiatric imaging pharmacogenomics, genetical imaging, brain connectomics, individual differences, emotional regulation and cognitive control processing. Professor Chen is also passionate about using ERPs, MRI, TMS, genetic and neuropharmacological techniques to explore the molecular biological and neuropsychopathological mechanisms of mental disorder, such as major depressive disorder, anxiety and substance dependence, to bring new imaging biomarkers into clinical application.
