Associated Professor of Gastroenterology and Hepatology, Dr. Celal Ulasoglu is an expert in the field of Gastrointestinal Diseases and Endoscopy. He is working in Medeniyet University Goztepe Education and Research Hospital as a full-time staff and giving lectures related with gastrointestinal and liver topics. He is also an active supporter of Celiac Disease, and Inflammatory Bowel diseases, attending to Phase III trials with new biologics. Recent published novel work about the effect of H. pylori on vitamin B12 metabolism (Dec 2019) suggested that the Cag positive strains lead to vit B12 deficiency by inflammation, not as a result of atrophy as usually thought.
