Professor doctor Manolakis Anastasios is currently Assistant Professor of Gastroenterology at the University of Thessaly, School of Medicine in Larissa and Interventional Endoscopist at Evangelismos General Hospital in Athens, Greece. He received training in Greece, Belgium and Japan under the supervision of Prof. Haruhiro Inoue, Prof. Ken Ohata and Prof. Jan Tack. Professor Manolakis is a Gastroenterologist with a special interest in advanced dagnostic and interventional gastrointestinal endoscopy. He engages as a trainer and operator in third space endoscopy, ESD, NBI and classic chromoendoscopy as well as endocytoscopy. Similarly, he trains residents, fellows and practices high resolution manometric investigation of esophageal and anorectal disorders. He attends inpatients, performs clinical rounds, participates in IBD and gastrointestinal motility outpatient clinics while at the same training medical and master's degree students.
