My name is Inshal Jawed and I’m affiliated with Harvard Medical School in their Global Clinical Scholar Research Training Program Cohort 2026. I am passionate about advancing evidence-based medicine through clinical research, systematic reviews, and meta-analyses, with particular interests in cardiovascular medicine, maternal outcomes, and public health. My academic journey is distinguished by the integration of clinical practice, international research collaborations, and a strong background in public speaking and leadership, which differentiates me as a physician committed equally to patient care, research, and mentorship. I have published multiple systematic reviews, meta-analyses, observational studies, Abstracts and case reports in international indexed journals such as Circulation, Hypertension, Age and aging, BMC Neurology, Annals of Medicine and Surgery, and SAGE Journals. I have presented at international academic conferences, including the International Rheumatology Conference in Karachi. I recently received Paul Dudley white International Award from AHA in their hypertension scientific session. I am a recipient of multiple national awards, most notably the President’s Gold Medal awarded by the President of Pakistan for overall excellence as a Naval Officer. In addition, I hold memberships with the American Heart Association, the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council, Rotary International, and the Youth Parliament of Pakistan. Beyond authorship, I have contributed to academic journals as a peer reviewer and co-author of editorials, supporting the dissemination of high-quality research and advancing scholarly communication. I am particularly focused on integrating artificial intelligence and preventive medicine into cardiovascular care to improve patient outcomes and reduce the global disease burden. I bring a diverse range of professional skills, including active listening, effective communication, interpersonal collaboration, leadership, mentoring, research management, and clinical problem-solving. These have been strengthened by my clinical practice, military service as a Surgeon Lieutenant in the Pakistan Navy, and my ongoing mentorship of medical students and young researchers. Outside of medicine, I am an accomplished public speaker, having won over 300 awards in national debates, and the author of “Jab Woh Bolti Hai”, a collection of my award-winning speeches. I also enjoy mentoring youth, volunteering in underserved communities, and working as a social media influencer with an audience of more than 80,000 followers, where I create content to raise awareness on health and social issues.
