Dr. Pan got his PhD degree in Internal Medicine from Medical School of Wuhan University in 2016. He is, as an associate chief physician and postgraduate supervisor, currently working in the Department of Critical Care Medicine, Zhongnan Hospital of Wuhan University. He also served as a member of the first committee of severe and trauma medicine of Hubei hepatobiliary Association. His basic research interests are immunoregulation and microbiota in sepsis and inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). His clinical research direction is related to the big data analysis on sepsis and acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS). Dr. Pan, as an official peer-reviewer for several SCI journals, has published more than 10 original articles in the past five years in many SCI-indexed journals including “Gastorenterology”、“Am J Physiol Lung Cell Mol Physiol”、” J Cell Biochem”、”Molecular Immunology”、”Infectious Diseases of Poverty”、”Journal of Clinical Virology”、 “Journal of Inflammation Research” 、“Frontiers in Neurology"、"Cytokines"、"Computational and Structural Biotechnology Journal" et al. Untill now, He has got some research programmes from Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) and Fundamental Research Funds for the Central Universities.
