Prof. Yi DONG, MD, Ph.D is the Chief at the Department of Ultrasound, Xinhua Hospital Affiliated to Shanghai Jiaotong University School of Medicine, Shanghai, China. She is the Mentor for Ph.D students. She worked as a Research Fellow at Pavia University, Italy in 2014 and at Wurzburg University, Germany in 2015. She worked as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard Medical School, USA in 2019. She was rewarded as a Guest professor of University of Regensburg, Germany in 2024. She was rewarded as a Visiting professor of Department of Radiology, Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, Perelman School of Medicine, University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, United States of America in 2025. Prof. Yi Dong’s fields of research and interest focus on abdominal ultrasound, interventional ultrasound and contrast enhanced ultrasound both in adults and pediatric patients. Also, she works with ultrasound experts worldwide on medical student education. Prof. Yi Dong has co-authored over 150 peer-reviewed scientific articles and taught more than 100 lectures worldwide. She is the Editorial Board Member for Clinical hemorheology and microcirculation as well as for Chinese Journal of Ultrasound Imaging.
