Dr. Yuan is a Professor in the Tianjin University of traditional Chinese Medicine, China. Having received hers MD degree from Tianjin University of traditional Chinese Medicine in 1985 and received hers PhD degree from Tianjin University of traditional Chinese Medicine in 1993. Since 1988, he has been engaged in clinical, scientific research and teaching of spleen and stomach diseases of traditional Chinese medicine in the outpatient department of the Institute of traditional Chinese medicine of Tianjin University of traditional Chinese medicine and Tianjin University of traditional Chinese medicine.She served as the vice chairman of spleen and stomach disease branch of Chinese Association of traditional Chinese medicine, chairman of digestive disease professional committee of Tianjin society of traditional Chinese medicine, the first batch of "national excellent clinical talents of traditional Chinese medicine" of the State Administration of traditional Chinese medicine, and young and middle-aged traditional Chinese medicine in Tianjin. She presided over and undertook 7 National Nature funds and more than 20 provincial and ministerial scientific research projects including major projects in Tianjin, won 2 scientific and technological progress awards of the Chinese society of traditional Chinese medicine and 3 scientific and technological progress awards of Tianjin, published more than 100 academic papers and wrote more than 10 academic works. She has trained more than 50 doctoral students and more than 60 master students.
