Dr. Amar Taksande has completed his MBBS & MD from Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences (MGIMS), Sewagram, Wardha, India. Afterwards, he completed his Fellowship in Paediatrics Cardiology from Innova Children Heart Hospital, Hyderabad. He received Visiting Fellowship Award from Royal College of Paediatric and Child health, United Kingdom in 2011. He is currently working as Professor in the Department of Paediatrics at Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College, Sawangi Meghe, Wardha. His special interest in Paediatric & Neonatal echocardiography and recent management of the congenital heart disease children. He has published more than 200 papers in the national and international journals and has been serving as an reviewer in several specialized journals.
