Dr Antonio Pesce is adjunct professor at University of Ferrara and consultant general surgeon working at the Ospedale del Delta, University of Ferrara, Italy. He has Post-graduate Medical Specialty in General Surgery and did PhD in Basic and Applied Biomedical Sciences, with curriculum in Experimental Surgery and Anatomy from the University of Catania. He was awarded a Clinical and Research Fellowship from the Division of General, Digestive and Endocrine Surgery, Hôpital Saint Louis, Paris.
