Dr Bellini is Assistant Professor at Sapienza University in Rome, IT. She has been in Oxford to complete her PhD and undertake further subspecialty training. During this time, she developed an interest in organ perfusion devices and she moved to hold the responsibility for the machine perfusion clinical program at Imperial College London (UK), for which she actively conducted grant funded translational research. She was awarded of a scholarship to visit the Erasmus Medical Centre in Rotterdam (NE) to develop her skills in living donation, one of her main clinical interests. Dr Bellini is a Board Member of the Vanguard Committee of the European Fellows in Transplant Surgery, Past Board Member of EKITA (European Kidney Transplant Association), a Committee within ESOT (European Society Organ Transplantation). She is also Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
