The research group is committed to the basic and clinical research of acute kidney injury. In recent years, a series of studies have been carried out focusing on the key issue of how to improve the early diagnosis and timely treatment of acute kidney injury in children and reduce the mortality and disability rate, and a diagnosis and treatment center and specimen bank for acute kidney injury in children and an early warning diagnosis and treatment system for acute kidney injury in children have been established. The biomarkers of kidney injury were first introduced into the clinical work of intensive pediatrics as critical assessment and prognostic indicators. The concept of "subclinical acute kidney injury" was first proposed in the field of pediatrics. Biomarker based diagnosis of subclinical acute kidney injury is an independent risk factor for death in critically ill children.
