Abstract

This is an author correction to Figure 5 in the article “Functional role of long non-coding RNA CASC19/miR-140-5p/CEMIP axis in colorectal cancer progression in vitro” by Wang XD et al, published at World J Gastroenterol 2019; 25 (14): 1697-1714. PMID: 31011255. DOI: 10.3748/wjg.v25.i14.1697.

Key Words: World Journal of Gastroenterology; Correction

Core Tip: This is a correction to the article “Functional role of long non-coding RNA CASC19/miR-140-5p/CEMIP axis in colorectal cancer progression in vitro”. We have identified the misuse of certain images in Figure 5, which need to be modified.

CORRECTION

We here make a correction to our article “Functional role of long non-coding RNA CASC19/miR-140-5p/CEMIP axis in colorectal cancer progression in vitro”[1].

We have identified the misuse of certain images in Figure 5, which need to be modified. In Figure 5C, the two images in the third column originate from the same cell line. In Figure 5D, the two images in the second column also come from the same cell line. The image in the second row of column 6 in Figure 5D has been technically modified. We noticed that its proportions were different from those of the other images. We apologize for the error. The corrected figure is shown in Figure 1. Although these errors do not change the ultimate results and conclusion of the study, corrections should be made to ensure the clarification and overall accuracy of the data presentation.

Data are presented as mean ± SD. aP < 0.05.
